Orientation

The purpose of this orientation is to supply you with the information to help you succeed at Longwood and go over your responsibilities as an international student. International Student Orientation is mandatory for all first-year and transfer international students, and it will cover the following information:

• Visa regulations and how to maintain good legal status in the United States for both F-visa and J-visa students. 
• How to prepare for the academic environment at Longwood and the academic support services available. 
• The Farmville community, including public transportation, banking information, the bookstore, and where to shop and eat. 
• Opportunities for social interaction and involvement in student lift. 

Please bring your passport, I-20, or DS-2019, proof of health insurance, and certificate of immunization when you come to the International Student Orientation.
